My name is Shelbi Henkle and I am a '22-'23 Lead for America Fellow with AmeriCorps serving in eastern Kentucky in the Appalachia region. My goal is to bring awareness to digital broadband issues and the disconnect between companies and consumers regarding internet access in the Bell, Clay, and Leslie counties. I am partnering with Red Bird Mission for this year and this blog is a place for me to house my monthly reflections and other insights I may have from this experience.
